I recieved a 97 Plymouth Breeze from a friend for my son. I cannot get the car to start. I have replaced the battery and the starter. I have read some of the other slow cranking posts and some may be helpful, but have not been direct enough.
I am wondering if I need to take a look at the timing belt and both the CamShaft and Crankshaft position sensors? I have also seen a post or two saying that there may be issues with the alternator. I am trying to teach my son car repair and car care so he can be a little more self sufficiant. I however happen to be stumped.
I also know I have a head gasket leak and a valve cover gasket leak in the rear of the #2 and #3 cylinders....gasket replacement I get.....electrical issues I am having a hard time with at this point.
We won't get in to the massive issues suspension issues I will have to deal with with the ball joint...
thanks in advance.
