I have replaced the brakes on the rear of this car four times in the last months. Every time I replace them, they overheat and smoke. They scrape and grind until the pads are gone again. Seems like the cylinders are not releasing. Right side is the worst. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your cylinders are not leaking, and you have no trouble removing the drums to replace the shoes.then the cylinders are just fine.Have you tried bleeding the system at the rear just to flush any impurities that may be in the front to rear line.check the line physically from frot to rear for any kinks that may cause slow fluid return.I am assuming none of your ABS indicator lights are on or flashing.Always replace rear shoe HARDWARE every time you replace the shoes the heat generated by the shoes will weaken the return springs.Keep me posted good luck :)
