1996 Plymouth Breeze 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

while trying to change the fuel filter i broke off one of the stems on top of the gas tank now im stuck can anybody help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a part of your fuel pump assembly. You may have to replace it. I don't believe there is a way to re-attach the part that you broke.
