Shakes or Wobbles problem
1993 Plymouth Acclaim 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive 83,000 miles

My car is fairly old, recently about 2 months ago I took my car for a tune-up, they did everything, including putting in new spark plugs, I had no issues before I took it in to this auto repair place, but as soon as I turned my car on, my car began jumping and shaking as if it were gong to shut down, I advised the person that this seemed abnormal, and he advised me that it was because of the spark plugs, and it should go away within a day. My car has not been the same since, it jumps when im driving and sometimes sitting in idle, it shuts off when I turnon my a/c, I am eager to take this isn, but I already know this is gonna cot a grip.

Chances are they left off a vacuum hose which is causing this. As far as him telling you the rough idle was because of the new plugs is a bunch of bologna. New plugs will not cause that.

Take it back to them and demand they fix it. Explain you told them about it the day you picked it up, the mechanic told you it's from the new plugs (which is wrong), and you want then to determine what they did wrong.

Let me know how it goes. Also, this goes back to what one of my shop teachers taught us. "If it isn't broken, don't fix it."
