Hello. My father, after I got my Driver's License, decided that the good old family car would become my first car (which is surprisingly what I wanted). She's constantly been there and never really had problems until now. In the past few years my dad had neglected to take care of her and now things are starting to come up.

The biggest problem, next to the fact that the engine needs to be overhauled soon, is that one of the CV joints is going. I currently have one priced at $124 for either a right or a left one but I have no clue about labor estimates. My dad used to be a mechanic but isn't up to date with prices so we were looking to see if anyone had gone through this before. Any help here would be most appreciated!

Putting in a remanufacted axle is the way to go, labor is about 1 hour!
