As I use the interior automatic shifter. Park to drive to reverse ect. I am having a hard time as it feels rough and sometimes gets stuck. I'm trying to pinpoint problem. Is their a shifter cable within the steering column needing replaced.

Hi:

Check under the hood of the car for a shifter linkage near or around the steering column. It may need lubericated or repaired.
