My car needs a head gasket. What is a fair price for the repair? Also, what is your opinion of liquid products that can be poured in to repair a blown head gasket? Thanks.

With any head gasket problem,ore often than not there is a problem with the head as well, it is never just a case of head off and new gasket, the head should be checked for cracking, bend, warping, and corrosion damage, this can only be known with the head removed and inspected & evaluated. As for liquid fix.... don't waste your time or money, this can often cause more problems that its worth.
