The other day, I stopped at the gas station, started the car, got to work, worked the day, then went to leave, and the car would not start. After further inspection, I found there was no spark coming from the coil.
So I replaced the coil, still no spark. So I checked to make sure it was getting power to the coil, no power. As I have read, Plymouth did this wire crimp and tape over thing, The crimps were wire ends compressed directly to each other, nothing holding them together. Then insulated by tape.
Next, I started to check the wire all the way over to the ECM/EEC. All the wires are in PERFECT condition.
As of now. Not the rotor, pick up coil, cap, wires, coil....
So I figured, ok, well The ECM/EEC must be bad. So I replaced that and got no where! Still same issue!
Now I am thinking crank shaft sensor, could that be the problem all along? I have no idea, I cant even find anything for this car here locally, half the things are dealership only parts!
PLEASE, I AM BEGGING, HELP!
