So my car was driving fine about two to three weeks ago, but then I started having a problem where my car would start revving in neutral to about 2000-2300 rpm and just kept doing so for about ten minutes. when I went to drive it after I got to about fifty five mph my check engine light flashed for about ten seconds and then my car sputtered and would not let me push the gas any further down without the car sputtering. I parked my car for about two hours went back out to drive home and it would not start. I smelt a fuel smell through the car and it took about thirty minutes before it finally started. I got the alternator and battery tested but they were both fine. so I got my plugs and wires all changed out and I am still having the same problem with the car. I checked ever vacuum line and the air box they are all fine. I cannot figure this out. please help me.

Hello,

It sounds like you have low fuel pressure. This will cause the engine not to start and to smell fuel because the injectors cannot put out the correct spray pattern.

Here is a guide we can do to confirm the problem.

Please run this test and get back to us we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
