I cannot get my windows to roll up. Does the polarity change on the window switches when it is working?

Hello,
Yes, the polarity changes when the switch is activated. Here is a guide that will show you how to test the switch:

Here is the power window wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works.
Check the fuses as well there is an integration relay as well.
Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
