Car not starting after running out of gas?

So, what happens is the fuel pump can go out once it is run dry, this is common. here is how to change it out to help fix the problem, to confirm this is the problem see if the engine will run on starting fluid. The pump is located under the rear seat through an access port. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
