1997 Peugeot 406 Two Wheel Drive Manual 140,00 miles

will not accept input code, red light flashing continuously. Can I bypass using this device?

remove battery leads for 1 hour .. replace battery leads and input code again

I have peugeot 406,1996.when I put in the code the red light keeps on flashing.and when i try to lock the doors with remote they lock and reopen immediately. could this cause the code not to work?Any help? thanks.
