I'm hoping someone can assist me with a front brake disc issue with my 2004 model 307. Since purchasing this car second hand I have repaired the front disc's a number of times. When I purchased the car with 28000km on the speedo, it had a moderate brake shudder, expecially when braking downhill.(this was not the ABS coming on). At 32000km's I had the front brake disc's machined. Within 5000km's the shudder was noted and came back gradually until I had to replace the disc with new ones at 48000km's due to excessive shudder under all braking conditions (especially braking under downhill conditions). Again within 5000km's the disc shudder came back although very slight at this stage. I've now travelled 60000 kms and I'm not sure what to do. Is there an inherent design issue with the front brake disc's warping. Is there a solution to this problem without replacing the disc's or machining them every 15000 kms?
