2003 Peugeot 307 brakes grinding when applied

everytime i apply my brakes, i get a grinding noise coming from the front. do i need to replace the pads and discs or just the pads, if so, how much would it cost roughly to do this

to replace the pads and discs including labour

you need to replace the pads .. and posssibly the disc's .. pads cost ariund £15 for both side's .. disc's around £40 each and it will cost around 1 hours labour at the repair centre charges !!
