problem with red segment display for engine oil level incorporated in dashbord instrumentation.
only the lower half of the six red segment display is lighted and flickers all the time. also "f max" is indicated as normal.
normally both halves of the six red segments lights and do not flicker, showing also the "f max" sign, if the engine oil level is ok, forming 6 figures of "8" near each other.
as it is now it is faulty lighting, indicating that the engine oil level is overfilled. actually the engine oil level is ok.
what could be the problem? thanks very much.
