Noises problem
2002 Peugeot 206 Manual 50000 miles
Hi
While driving yesterday for about the 1st 10-15 minutes of driving all was fine. Then out the blue the car started to make a really loud squealing noise. REALLY LOAD. Embarrassing
The noise is there when the car in NOT in gear as well as when it is in gear. I managed to drive it home and while driving the noise is there until you get into second gear and take your foot of the accelerator. But as soon as you accelerate again the noise returns.
Once i got the car home i parked it up and later that day noticed a large amount of fluid had leaked out from under the car. This may sound strange but this fluisd had a strange smell of oniion.
Also when you turn the engine of to stop the noise you can hear the noise stopping slowly rather than straight away.
