2001 Peugeot 206 cutting out

i brought a 206 gti (138bhp) about 4 weeks ago and in the last week there has been a few complictaions by which i mean while after roughly an hours driving as i slow down at junctions the car stutters and cuts out or if it dosent while im slowing down it does when the car is idle......any tips ? many thanks
