Hi there, I've bought a used alternator but would like to know how to test it before it's fitted to the vehicle... Is that posisble? Any information you can provide would be hugely appreciated!

you can have it tested at an alternator repair centre .. you need a special set up to test ... easiest way is to fit to the vehicle and check the output
