I need to replace my brake pedal bushing; store only has one brake pedal bushing and it for a Hobda. He thinks it's universal, but I want to know if this will work on my car before I buy it.

Hello,

If the store has a bushing, but for a Honda, it will likely not work.
Keep in mind that if any part is labelled as 'universal' it might not fit properly or fit at all. The idea of a universal part is that it will have multiple fitments, but none might be the exact fit.

So, if you want you can possibly compare it to the bushing that is already in the vehicle and see if that is a match.

The best course of action would be for you to call your local Hyundai dealer and see what they have available. Most of the time they can provide you with part numbers that you can buy online (if you do not want to get it from the dealer).

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Hi,

The bushing OEM part number is 32883. Go to Google and type in Hyundai Elantra OEM part number 32883. It will bring up the parts you need.

I attached a pic below showing them in the pic and from an at random. I would recommend getting one from a dealer since they are not expensive.

However, if you want, have the parts store cross-reference their part number with the OEM part number I mentioned. If they cross, what they have will work.

Let me know if this helps or if there is anything I can do to help you. Also, if you need to remove the pedal assembly, I attached the directions also.

Take care.

Joe
