I'm trying to replace the PCV valve because my car is burning to much oil. So i saw that cleaning or replacing the PCV valve would fix that problem but i don't know exactly where it is located or if even has one.

I attached a picture of where it is. This can cause oil usage but how much oil are you using? Have you done an oil consumption test?

If not, change the oil and mark the dipstick where the oil level is after it is done. Then drive the vehicle 500 miles and check the level on the dipstick. Then fill the engine until it is back to the line that you made tracking how much oil it takes to get it there. Then we know how much it is burning and can determine if it is in need of repair.

Let me know if you have questions. Thanks

The PCV runs between the valve cover and the throttle body. I attached a picture for you to see its location.

Pics 2,3,and 4 explain how it is replaced.

Let me know if that helps.

Yes it does help . i thought that's where it was but I wasn't 100% sure. Because I took it into a auto mechanic shop and the mechanic had told me that newer cars don't have a PCV valve. I don't think my car is that new its 16 years old . But i do appreciate your time and help. Thank you very much.
