I am looking to get an OEM dealer PCV, but this part is discontinued. part# 5175353aa.
.
Will this other PCV that's on a similar engine on a Dodge Ram work?
5175352AA. i think it goes on an 8 cylinder but Magnum motor 5.2?

Or maybe one from a Durango could work. i'd much rather get it local if possible.

Is there a site w true OEM or will that be difficult to get since its discontinued?

I'm told this can really factor oil usage.
Thanks

Yes, the PCV valve can stick open and the engine to burn oil. I believe the second part you mentioned will work, I would match the parts up and if they look the same you should be okay. Here is the location of the PCV and how it works. Check out the images below. Let us know if you need anything else, please.

I didn't know if an 8-cylinder PCV could be used on my 6-cylinder.

If they match up it should work.

I know they’ll look the same. So, there’s no difference in the inside of one to a 6 cylinder vs a 8 cylinder, right?
