I got my car in September. Its assembly was changed in July. Car had no problem except vibration at low speeds.
Mechanic told me to go to tire shop and change tires which he suspected were faulty.
My tires were 175/70 r13. I changed temporarily to 185/85 r 13 but it didn't help. Then a mechanic discovered it had an issue with one of its engine mounts so i replaced it. Then I replaced the tires with new 175/70 r13. In between these events, i felt my car lost both power and fuel average, its pick is too less looks like it has been choked.
I came to electrician they checked all sensors, all wirings, cleaned CAT, fuel pump and fuel system, checked entire exhaust system, coils, plugs, throttle body, accelerator pedal, cleaned injectors, engine, all was okay. Nothing whatsoever helped. Just average improved but that too a bit. I was getting 15kmh in beginning and now 11kmh after work.
So now it has average and pick issue both.

Good afternoon,

Going to the larger tires would explain both issues as it would take more energy to move the car with larger tires.

After you changed them back to the original, did the speedometer return to normal and did the car run better? How long since you changed the tires?
