Pass-lock system will not turn off

Hi, I am having this common issue of being unable to reset the pass-lock system. I've tried keeping the key in accessory mode for ten-minute intervals as is commonly recommended, but it has not worked. The lock light on the dash still lights up and it starts for about 2 seconds and shuts off. Any ideas?

Sounds like you tried the processes in this guide but take a look at it and just make sure:

If you did, then we need to start with checking for codes.

Depending on what codes are there, we will have a better idea as to what the issue is.

If we have no codes, then the most common cause of this is a key so we may need to just replace the keys and retest this unless you have multiple keys doing the same thing.

Let's start with this info and go from there.
