Passenger front seat

When the passenger front seat is in its most rear position my knees are only about three inches from the airbag and I am only 5'11' tall. Is it possible to unbolt the entire seat and move it back about four to six inches and then re bolt it down?

Hello, I am Danny.

I have heard of people fabricating new metal brackets to to modify seats like that. Unfortunately, it is not just a simple move/re bolt. I would thing you could contact an auto upholstery shop and see if they are capable of making the brackets. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
