Passenger blinkers blinking fast

Hi,

The idea that it double times does indicate an open circuit (burnt bulb). Are you certain one of the lights assemblies doesn't have two bulbs for the signal, one working and one not? Compare it to the opposite side. See if there is anything different.

No it just has the one, I just recently bought the vehicle and replaced all the bulbs except the running lights. They all three just blink 3 times then nothing, so could it still be one of the bulbs like more resistance on that bulb? I guess what I'm asking is could the bulb still blink a couple times if it's bad?

Anything is possible. It could be making contact and then lose it. However, when you say it blinks three times and then nothing, do they just totally turn off?

Yes , sometimes they will blink little longer but the longer it blinks the faster as well. But normally three or four really fast blinks and then nothing. It stops to quick for me to get out and check on the outside , I have to have someone else stand in front to see if it blinks as well as the back, of course I can see the one in the mirror.

I could get a video if that would help at all.

I suspect the turn signal flasher module is bad. I say that simply because they work (fast) and then totally stop. What happens when the hazard lights are turned on?

I attached a couple of pics below showing the wiring schematic and where the module is located.
