Hi,

Does the light turn on and not flash or does nothing happen? The design on this vehicle is somewhat complex. It doesn't use a traditional flasher. Instead, there is a front control module and rear control module.

Let me know that. Also, if nothing even turns on, check fuse 10 in the under hood fuse box first. Next, I made a quick copy of the two control modules I mentioned just so you can see how they play into the system.

Let me know exactly what is happening.

Take care,
Joe

Hello, We checked the wires to the new blinker connector where the bulb is. There is no current going to the new light connector. There are three wires a white with a red stripe, a blue with a stripe and a black. Do I follow them by sticking the light to see how far the light stays out? Thanks, Claire

Hi,

Yes, that is what will need done to determine where power is lost. When you do this, be careful not to damage the wiring. If you by accident damage the insulation on the wire, make sure to repair it at least with electrical tape.

Now, the white wire with the red stripe is straight from the fuse. The blue with an orange stripe goes to the front electric module (FEM), and the black is ground. Make sure you have continuity to ground via the black wire. You will need a multi meter to check this.
