The car listed above is an LTZ model, with 4-wheel disc brakes.

Replacing both rear cables and the front. Manual I am using:
Auto repair source by motor driven.
Shows parking brakes to be drum style but car has the disc style parking brake.
I am trying to remove the front cable. It is pedal actuated. Cable runs under the carpet along the front and rear rocker panels on the left side.
The manual is rather vague how to get to the cable.
Remove lefthand closeout/insulator panel.
8. Remove lower center pillar panel on lefthand side and lefthand side carpet retainers.
9. Fold back carpeting in order to gain access to the front park brake cable.
No clue as to what or where the left hand close out/insulator panel is?
The rear driver's seat is hinged. Back folds down bottom fold up and forward. Beneath the raised seat is a vinyl pan that
appears to be riveted in place across the entire back seat.
Seat Cushion
1. Pull up on front of seat cushion to disengage retainers and lift rear seat cushion (1) out of vehicle, Fig. 3. A high amount of upward force will be required.
2. After removal of retainers, sheet metal will be slightly deformed outward. Use a small hammer and pound sheet metal back to its original, flat appearance.
3. Remove seat cushion by lifting cushion up and pulling cushion outward from seat back.
4. Reverse procedure to install, note following:
a. Torque retaining bolts and nut to 33 ft. lbs.
b. Hooks at rear of seat must go over and behind mushroom retainers at rear of floor.
c. When installing new plastic retainers on front of seat, only seat retainer to first click, otherwise insertion force into sheet metal will greatly increase
Don’t want to butcher this deal only to find out i am missing something obvious.
