Replaced the disc brakes on the car listed above. The cylinder that engages the parking brake will not reengage. should I just replace the part or can it be repaired? Having trouble finding any information on line.
Thank you.

This depends on what is wrong with it. When you pull the lever to set the parking brake what happens? Does the cable on the rear calipers move or does it not move in relation to the lever moving? Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks

Piston works clockwise, but does not rotate counterclockwise.

I understand now. Are you using the tool that secures to the piston? If you are and it will not turn counterclockwise then the caliper will need to be replaced. From how I was reading it, you replaced the rotors and pads but not the calipers.

Let me know if this is correct and we can go from there. Thanks

Yes, we are using the tool that secures the piston. Yes, just replaced the rotors and pads.
Thank you for your help. Will replace the calipers today.
