MIL is on in my car with code - P1506.

Following things have been done for this -

1. Intake manifold gaskets has been replaced.
2. IAC valve has been replaced.
3. All the hoses (PCV) have been replaced.
4. Throttle Body has been replaced.
5. Smoke test done for checking vacuum leaks and there are none.

RPM has come down from 1200-1300 to 900-1000 now.
However the check engine light is on again with same code.

Also, EGR and EVAP is failing in OBD2 readiness.

What am i missing?

Did you say you replaced the PVC? that is the number one fix for the code. looks like the code is more vacuum leak based for causes.

The monitors I would not worry about until the code are fixed.

Mechanic had tried to adjust the idle in throttle body. Could this be the problem?

Yeah, the idle stop screw should never be adjusted that is just what the factory set the throttle body plate at for base idle. I had a Ford that had the brake booster hose leaking. Anything is possible people can miss something when doing a smoke test. I do not know why he would adjust the throttle plate stop screw. That is meant to be that adjustment for the life of the car.

I do not see the EGR sensor really effecting that code unless it is leaking vacuum.
