Can’t find the canister vent solenoid on my truck. Can someone help?

Hello, if I remember correctly I believe the canister vent valve is up by the brake booster it's a terrible location and the wires are subject to extreme conditions, especially up north. Make sure to inspect the wires extremely well.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you for your help. This is the only thing I see above the spare set up. Is it close to the gas tank or connected to a line I can follow?

Okay, you can use a regular test light to check the power and ground back there. But do a visual inspection of the wires first I'm sure you'll find a little break in it somewhere where it's corroded inside.

That was the problem. The wires were broke at the clip. Just needed s new clip.

Great to hear, nice easy cheap fix, the manufacturer really should put more insulation around those or reposition them or something. Those wires always take a beating. But glad to hear you found the problem without too much headache.
