P1300 code

Truck started running real rough suddenly. Reader showed I had a P0304 code. I checked #4 plug and had a hole in the rubber that goes over the spark plug. Only 31,000 miles on a rebuilt engine with new plugs and wires, so I replaced all wires and tubes (best grade belden) down from the coils, not the plugs or coils though. Now it won't run and I get the 1300 code (coil). Should I just replace all coils since I don't know if they were replaced with rebuild or could it be something else? I'm not sure how to check each individual coil. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Any time you even suspect an ignition component, i.e. spark plug, spark plug wires,coil, coil packs, or Coil On Plug [COP], of being bad, you should replace it without question. This will prevent Direct Trouble Codes[DTC][s] like this from happening, and it is a good policy to follow. This is what I do with my own vehicle. I hope that this helps.
