Code P0974 Solenoid 1-2 replacement with wires?

I was told I need to replace Solenoid 1-2 and the wires because one may have been cut on the car listed above. How do I go about doing this? There are not many tutorial videos out and this is going to be my first time repairing my own car. Thank you

Hi,

I would be happy to provide the directions. My only concern is that this is your first time working on a vehicle. You will need to remove the transmission side cover to gain access to the shift solenoid. It may be tricky for one that is not familiar with the process, so take your time and follow the directions.
