p0888 code after changing alternator

bought used car wont shift out of 1st gear.. owner just replaced alternator..codes came up o2 sensors..I replaced them..new battery installed also..had ecm shift chip replaced..still no shifting..replaced fuses..help.

I don't know what you could be talking about with the ECM shift chip. The ECM doesn't even control transmission operation.

What you need is a professional level scan tool capable of accessing the TCM and retrieve the codes from there.

if you replaced chip it may need to be programmed to your car. check fuse 11 inside car and items in pic then start checking for shorted wires.
