I am getting a P0717 transmission input shaft low reference message. I believe this indicates a bad ground to the TCM. I have seen a few fixes that involve taking the ground from both the TCM and the electrical connector at the transmission to a more suitable ground by splicing the wire and making an eyelet and running the wire at both ends to a suitable ground. Any ideas? Thanks. It's only doing a hard shift between first and second.
