P0500 Vehicle speed sensor

Have P0500 code, no speedometer. check engine light Abs light and about every warning light on Problem started suddenly Changed out speed sensor on rear differential and had no change Where do I go from here

I think you replaced the wrong sensor, here is where the manual says the sensor it which is on the upper side of the transmission adapter for the transfer case.

P0500 code Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) - No Signal

This is what it looks like and how to change it out. Be sure to clear the codes once completed. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes

Hi Ken the sensors I can get locally are almost 4 times the price I can get it from Rock Auto
So part will not be here until Friday Will Let you know then
