Scanned car and found p0453 code for fuel tank pressure sensor. Alldata shows the sensor to be on the right side rear of the engine compartment, however there is no sensor there other than the EVAP purge flow switch and the Evap purge solinoid. I have also checked around the fuel tank with no luck. Any Ideas on where else it could be or if its possible that the car isnt equipped with one? And if not equipped, what else could cause this code?

That is the same info I have and the sensor is not there. I cannot find it in the engine compartment or at the fuel tank.

That's what I would have thought but there is no evidence that one was ever there. No connector, no vacuum lines and no evidence that one was ever bolted to the firewall!

I found a wiring diagram for that sensor. You might be able to backtrack the wire color from pcm? I know it's a pain, but, I don't know what else to tell you. D10 at pcm, yellow wire with blue tracer, track the wire. I believe this was for honda accord usa ex. If there is no such wire, I don't know what to tell you?
