About three months ago a p0430 code popped up on my check engine light. The bank 2 catalytic converter was replaced also all four sensors. The code went away for about a month and then popped back up again today. What could be the possible problem?

Good afternoon.

What kind of catalytic converter did you use?

Quality is critical. If it was a cheap one, they never last. You need a good quality converter made by Walker or Bosal.

The precious metals inside is what is not doing its job. The cheaper ones do not have enough to keep the light out.

They have a warranty on them. I would return to the installer and have it replaced again.

Does the engine run good? Engine misfires can cause a catalytic converter to fail but you did not mention any of this in your post.

Okay, ask them to warranty your catalytic converter. It has at least a one year warranty.

Okay, did you fill out the warranty card and send it in when you bought it?
