Was driving on the freeway perfectly fine then check engine light started flashing and went into limp mode. Codes p0011 and p1326 came on. Car is now sluggish; car starts with no issues and can hear a rattle/knock sound on timing chain side when accelerating.

What ever happened here?

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/turn-signals-25994679

The dreaded camshaft code, can I ask if the engine is making a rattling sound at idle, can you please upload a short video of the engine idling so I can hear it? That way I can tell for sure what is wrong with it.

P0011 - "A" Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced (Bank 1)
P1326 - Knock Sensor Detection System (KSDS) Active

Because you have the knock sensor code as well this can be the knock sensor is hearing the noise and can't control it. (Because it is a timing chain issue). The over advanced code is because the oil control valve is stuck on. Here is the location of the valve I am talking about, Also, I would check the engine oil and if it is low/dirty I would change it and then clear the codes. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

With the signal lights it was a wire that was exposed causing a short.

Thanks for the videos. It doesn't sound too bad, there is a little noise. I would try swapping out the oil control valves to see if that helps, also, you might want to remove the valve cover and use a flashlight and a long screwdriver to check the chain tension. Sometimes the engine won't make noise, but the timing chain guide can be broken. If you change the valves out clear the codes after. Let us know what you find.

There is only a knocking/rattling noise under acceleration.

Hmm, the timing chain and inside the engine look good. It sounds like it is a sized wrist pin or a broken piston. You might be able to remove the coil control wires one at a time, rev it up and see if the noise goes away, this will be the cylinder having the problem. Thanks for the videos they helped.
