Check engine light turned on with codes P0008 and P0017?

This can happen when the camshaft oil control solenoids get clogged up or stop working. Also, make sure the engine oil is clean and full. Here is the location of the actuators so you can remove them to check the screen at the engine of the valve. Here is more information on the problem:


P0008: that there is a timing problem between the camshaft and crankshaft positions in bank 1 of the engine.

P0017: It signifies a timing issue between the camshaft and crankshaft positions in both banks of the engine.
