Oxygen sensor downstream location

Hi Stacy and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

I am not sure which V6 you have, so I will supply pictures of both. It indicates all sensors. A down stream sensor will be indicated as sensor 2. Now keep in mind, on the V6 engine, there are two different banks. I'm not sure which you are dealing with. If you have had the computer scanned, the code will indicate bank 1 or bank 2 as well as sensor 1 or sensor 2.

The first pic is the 3.5L. On the picture are numbers pointing to locations. Here are the descriptions for each number.


1 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1
2 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1
3 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 2
4 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 2

Here are locations for the 3.6L engine. Picture 2 correlate with these locations.


1 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1
2 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 2 Sensor 1

4 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 2
