Vehicle listed above is overheating. I have to fill up radiator every 30 minutes to an hour of driving. At an idle it gradually lowers in temperature. Radiator is few months old, radiator cap the same. The oil is splattered on top of engine valve cover, and behind the engine. It's idling very rough, stalling as it comes to a stop. Please help. Head gasket, converter?

Hello,

First check if you can get ant fault codes. check below our guide.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

perform visual inspection if any vacuum hose jumped out that can cause engine stalling and can leak some oil outside the engine.

Check our guides for how to fix engine stalling.

Is the coolant level correct? radiator fans are working properly?

check the coolant reservoir any oil inside, or check the oil dipstick if any water found inside the oil.

check the links below our guides how to check overheated engine and head gasket check,

Check guides and the diagrams below the procedure how to remove and reinstall cylinder head and perform valve timing.

hope this help, let us know what happens with you.

thank you.
