Engine overheating

it has been overheating since last year. At first I send the radiator to be repaired and they said the problem is that the engine is releasing too much pressure which has cause the radiator to expand. when I put it again on the car after being repaired it started to leak again within some hours. Then i decide to put a new water pump, but still the problem still remained the same. it did get better when i removed the thermostat, but still overheating. Now I took the head for skimming put a new gasket set but the car is refusing to start only cranking. So we started it using quick start but there is desiel knock sound. So I am desperate and confused, we tried to blow the injectors but it did not work and before it was starting without a problem. Thank Steven

Do you have fuel at the injectors, crack a injector line and crank engine, you should get a fuel pulse did you bleed the fuel system properly? Quick start is a bad idea, to much can do a lot of damage due to uncontrolled detonation, you may need to check all the basics first, valve timing, compression, valve clearances and fuel delivery, start here.

Is it possible to replace my Colt 2.8tdi Engine with a mitsubishi Triton 2.5tdi.

And also on my first question is true that a 2.8TDi cylinder head is not suppose to be skimmed but by a new one, because it's has got Turbo.

Resurfacing the head should not matter, I would check the injector pump timing as MHPautos suggested. Also check for water in the fuel plus those engine have a fuel cut of solenoid that could be bad as well.

My vehicle has recently had a full engine rebuild. Just recently I noticed bubbling in the expander tank after switch off. I took the vehicle back to the mechanic who did the rebuild and he referred me back to radiator specialists. They tested the cap which was fine but noticed that where the cap fitted the cap fitting area was warped and said that I needed a new radiator.
I need a second opinion. I have a new thermostat as well as a new water pump. I have done all the known tests for a blown head gasket which proved negative, I realize that due to the loss in pressure coming from a warped radiator head that this could well be the problem. The temperature gauge does not show overheating.
Would I solve the problem to buy a new radiator or could their be a problem with the viscus fan. There is a slight loss of coolant.

The radiator could be plugging and causing the problem. If there is no leak at the cap, I don't think the radiator being warped there is a problem. Try having the cooling system flushed.

okay ,now i also have a over heating problem,my bakkie is loosing water,if i travel for 70km,before i am ready to get back home ,i have to refill water,the bottle and radiator will be empty,there is no oil and water mix ,so i dont know if the gasket is blown
