Engine temperature warning light came on. Did not know what light was. Drove a few hundred feet and pulled over and cut off engine an pulled out user guide to see what light was. Waited about five minutes and drove vehicle home (four miles). Less than one mile from home two additional lights came on (malfunction indicator light and electronic throttle control indicator light). Put car in reverse to back in driveway and there was a pop and smoke/steam for about ten seconds. Parked car. Opened hood. Did not see any coolant on ground. Coolant reservoir was just about at the add mark. Fan looked like it was wet. Let cool (about two hours) and checked levels of coolant (no change) and oil (appeared to be really thin). Hoses seem to be normal. Cranked car. No abnormal sounds. Only light is malfunction indicator. Any suggestions. I know that it could be a number of things without visual inspection. Warranty just expired off course!
