Overhead temperature, compass, DTE, milage, MPG was flickering and now it is blank, why?

Yep, the LED readout is powered by an amplifier which sounds like it is going out. I would try to find a used one or you could send your to an instrument cluster rebuilder, they will have the right parts to fix it. Let me know what happens.
