I changed my thermostat. There was air stuck at the thermostat. I bought a upgraded version. The bleeder bolt was not cut for bleeding. The auto repair shop said take the cap off and let it run. I did that. It bubbled over, I turned off the engine. While I was waiting for the bubbles to stop the tank cycled into the engine. It left my tank low. I refilled the tank. Then drove it for a few miles on a highway. Did I put in to much coolant?

To much is better than not enough" ..that said here is how to check it...
Let the engine cool down completely
Take the cap off the radiator when you know it safe to do so
Look to see if the coolant level is up to the filler neck if not add a bit till it is
Then "
Put the cap back on and check the coolant catch tank there should be a mark on it somewhere that reads high and low if its on the lower level ..just add some till its on the high level ..note " that level is usually about half to three quarters to the top of the reservoir [it varies) but you'll see it one the side. That little bit of extra space gives coolant room to expand when it gets hot ..but yeah if its at the full level line your good to go. good luck hope this helps.

Oh and after filing it and driving it around some times i check it the next morning when it had all night to cool and settle down ..
If its still full in the morning its not leaking anywhere ..a healthy cooling system with always hold its level over night ...be well ".

Yeah I thought I over filled it. I didn't, I didn't realize the coolant is pressurized system. But now I have to do more work on it. I have to have it flushed and filled again. I bought a coolant at Walmart that stated it's for Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler, Ram, and Jeep. It's a purple color. So I have to flush the system. Trying to see if Valvoline will do this service.
