Ordering the right automatic transmission fluid

I'm getting ready for my first DIY transmission fluid change, when i went to order the fluid from Amazon it told me it does not fit' my make/model. wondering if someone can explain why?

I'm pretty sure that's the stuff i want, but Amazon is prompting me a warning. any expert want to comment?

(P.S. they didn't have my exact VIN option in the drop down menu, so i selected AN37, knowing full well mine is a AN12, I'm not sure if that would make a significant difference to the warning prompt)

I'm not sure why they said it wasn't correct. There is only one automatic transmission for this vehicle. Here are the specs right from Alldata:

2005 Saturn ION L4-2.2L VIN F
4T40-E/4T45-E Automatic Transaxle
Vehicle Maintenance Fluids Fluid - A/T Specifications Fluid Types and Capacities 4T40-

Transmission Fluid .................... DEXRON III Automatic Transmission Fluid. Look for "Approved for the H-Specification" on the label.

Simply order Dexron III atf and you shouldn't have any trouble. Also, note that there are some brands that are a multi purpose fluid. As long as it indicates it replaces Dexron III it will be find.

They may have triggered on it because there are three different specifications for Dexron III with the H specification being the last version. But it is backward compatible with all of the Dexron specifications. You can also run the full synthetic Dexron VI in that transmission it is compatible with the Dexron III (G and H Spec only) It is about $5.00 a quart for ACDelco 10-9243
