Vauxhall Tigra 1998 1.4i, battery light came on getting brighter and dimmer with pushing of accelerator then just stayed on and not charging. Fitted new alternator and started vehicle, the battery light got brighter and brighter then went off and still not charging, battery light doesn't come on at all now even when ignition is first turned on before starting, please help, thanks,
