Ok here's the problem:

It will run 100% fine for about 5 miles, then it will backfire a few times and just die as
if out of fuel. It won't start at all when cranking (the ignition does make a noise still), till after waiting about 5-10 minutes. Then it will run again for a while and do it again. I changed the coil, fuel filter, oil filter, ECU, and checked the fuel pump and it seems to pump petrol fine while it won't start.
Plug wires seem to be fine. What can it be?? An earthing problem by the ECU perhaps? Please help

What engine you have?
If you have electric pump it is the fuel relay or else check control unit for overheating or water depeosits
