1989 Other Opel Models V8 Manual

we changed the coil, we changed the pick up sensor, the plug leads, teh distributor and computer box, it just wont start.
the engine has just been redone. the car just cut off and would start again. what could possibly be the problem.
its a opel kadette 2.0 8v 1989 model.
