1994 Opel Astra On 1\4 tank the car jerks and miss fires

The fuel pump is inside or outside the tank???

Inside the fuel tank there is a hole to the fuel feed pipe or the i n s i d e fuel tank filter is damaged since it does not takes the fuel in all level range
